How to edit your member folder listing in the site navigation so your name appears nicely.

Every person that joins the site is given a member folder were they can publish their own content. You notice if you click on the main "Member" link in the site navigation, the naviagtion will expand showing you the currently pulished member folders. You might also notice that your folder is named with the username you used to join and it doesn't look great. It is probably something like "robertalbert's home".

It is very easy to change the folder so it is just your name, for example "Robert Albert". All you have to do is edit the title of your member folder.

1. First make sure you are logged in.

2. Click on the "my folder" link in the blue in the upper right.

3. This will list out all the files in your member folder. If yoiu just joined an haven't added any content you probably just see one item that says something like "Home page for <your username>"

4. From the green bar click the "Edit" tab.

5. This will bring up the Edit Folder page for your member folder. You'll see fields that can be edited - Short Name, Title and Description. Leave short name as is, but you'll want to edit the "Title" field. What ever is in this filed, will appear in the navigation. Change it to something like just your name. For example, change "robertalbert's Home" to just "Robert Albert"

6. After you are happy with the new title, click the "save" button at the bottom.

That's it. Your member folder should now have changed to the new title you just created.
